Synopsis

Bethany, a perpetual self-doubter, is struggling to keep her father's successful staging company afloat while battling her own insecurities. Pressure mounts as she tries to find her voice and stand up for herself with difficult customers. Just when she thinks things can't get any worse, tragedy strikes. She and her husband, Terrance, lose their beloved foster child, sending them both into a tailspin of grief.

Enter Georgia, a pregnant stranger who arrives on their doorstep late one night seeking refuge from her abusive ex-partner. Feeling for Georgia, Bethany lets her move in and hires her as her assistant, agreeing to adopt her unborn baby. Desperate to start a new life, Georgia accepts the position and forces Bethany out of her comfort zone, encouraging her to stand up for herself at the company. On the outside, Georgia is supportive and charming, but not everything is as it seems. As the pregnancy progresses, Bethany and Terrance grow suspicious of Georgia's increasingly manipulative behavior.
