An art thief and the FBI agent hunting him collide over the Christmas season, inadvertently falling in love as they do.

Synopsis

Wealthy, handsome Christopher North dresses up as Santa and attends a holiday party hosted by rich tech CEO Alex Sykes. While in costume and with tech spy glasses, Chris steals a painting from a secret safe behind a replica of the same painting, and he steals the replica too.

Harper Winslow, a retro and sophisticated FBI agent, has her purse stolen in the alley outside while Chris is changing out of his Santa outfit. Chris sees this and comes to her rescue, but not before Harper fights off the teenaged thief. Harper and Chris have a clear connection but go their separate ways. Harper is there to investigate the theft Chris had just pulled off. As Harper enters the penthouse crime scene, she meets detective Carly Lopez, a no-nonsense, investigator and they find a lump of coal left in Alex’s safe in lieu of the stolen art. The two mismatched crime fighters are forced to work together for their respective law enforcement agencies, embarking on a comedic venture to find the thief and bring him to justice. Only Harper doesn’t realize the thief is the handsome Chris she had met in the alley behind the crime scene. As the cat and mouse game ensues, the Santa thief is known for leaving coal for the things taken.

But how will the FBI agent reconcile her differences with the thief whose identity she is in pursuit of exposing, when it turns out to be the man she is falling for? Perhaps Santa leaves coal behind for the victims of Santa’s burglaries, because the so-called victims are quite naughty themselves…
