After a girls' night out ends in suicide, Willa tries to uncover the truth behind her friend’s death, putting her own life in danger, even when the signs point to her own father as the killer.

Synopsis

At a crossroads of conflict and confusion in her life, Willa heads to her hometown for the holidays for the first time in years. Since the loss of her mother, things haven't been the same with her dad, and upon returning home she discovers that he has been building a new partnership, unbeknownst to her. In another unexpected reunion and to shake off this act of mistrust from her father, Willa and her high school friends Naomi and Tia decide to hit the town for a girls’ night out. The tension in the nightlife scene is high after the mysterious disappearance of another young woman their age in the town. On this particular girls’ night, the fun is cut short when Naomi meets an untimely death. All signs point to apparent suicide, but Willa doesn't believe this and she tells Tia she can't believe it either. Desperate to avenge their friend, Willa and Tia try to dig up any piece of evidence they can find in this strange puzzle. Willa begins to see potential suspects around every corner - even her own father. Things only get more complicated when Willa finds evidence on Naomi’s phone that her husband was having an affair. But with no real leads, Willa and Tia are left hopeless and worse, it appears someone doesn't want Willa to keep searching. Now in danger, with the clock ticking down, Willa must find the truth before someone puts an end to her search - and maybe her life.
