After the hottest guy in school likes her Instagram photo, a high-achieving, high-strung high school girl carries out totally cray schemes to get in his pants before the senior class trip ends. But things spiral when her obsession gets out of control.

Synopsis

In order to get closer to Jason Curtis, Kate befriends Aria, the school’s resident popular girl. But in doing so, Kate begins alienating Hannah, who doesn’t care if Kate’s popular.

Fueled by social media and hormones, Kate develops desperate schemes to get closer to Jason, each more desperate than the last. When Kate finds out Aria hooked up with Jason, her “friendship” with Aria gets competitive, and Kate mimics Aria to become someone she thinks Jason will like.

In one of her misguided schemes to get close to Jason, Kate makes the bus crash on the side of the road. The senior trip is cancelled, and Kate becomes persona non-grata with her class. Oy Vey!
