Christmas at the Greenbrier

Recently retired pro football player, Ben Pierson, returns home to resume a family tradition and spend Christmas at the magical Greenbrier Hotel. He is surprised to discover that his first true love, Abby Rose, is now working at the hotel. Old sparks ignite, but when Ben receives an unexpected offer to come out of retirement, it threatens to douse the flame before it can take hold.

Synopsis

When retired pro football player, Ben Pierson, returns to his hometown to spend Christmas at The Greenbrier, he's surprised to find that an old crush, Abby Rose, is now Director of PR at the hotel. Since they were teenagers, Ben and Abby crossed paths every year at Christmastime when their families would gather at The Greenbrier. They became fast friends, and as they got older, it looked as though a relationship might spark. But each year when the holidays ended, they sadly went their separate ways. Then, about ten years ago, the annual meetings came to a halt when Ben was drafted to Florida. Now, Ben learns Abby has since been married, widowed, and has a precocious 7-year-old named Henry. As Ben and Abby spend time together, they realize there's still undeniable chemistry. But the timing couldn't be worse; it's revealed that Ben is mulling a lucrative offer to come out of retirement for a playoff-bound team out west. Meanwhile, Abby isn't sure she's even ready for a relationship - after her husband's death, and she's wary of another heartbreak. She’s also worried about Henry become too attached to Ben. But it may already be too late - a bond is formed when Ben teaches Henry the finer points of football at the Greenbrier. Despite all this, Ben and Abby fall hard for one another. Now, as the holidays are nearing an end, Ben must decide what he wants for his future; Another run at a title, or a simpler life in West Virginia with Abby, Henry, and the possibility of opening his own football clinic at the Greenbrier. As for Abby, she must decide if she's willing to risk another broken heart and open up to love again.
