Synopsis

hitwoman behind. Befriended by Javier, a man who helped her get her on her feet, she now works with him at her diner. Her past as a killer for hire means she has a series of skills that make her handy with guns and all manner of other weapons. When she learns that her daughter’s boyfriend, Travis (Timothy Granaderos), has abused her, those special skills come in handy when she drives him to the desert, beats him, and leaves him for dead. Joy, who still claims to love her boyfriend, is angry that her mother would do such a thing. Eventually, Hazel begins a romance with Elliott, but as it turns out, he’s a plant, having shown up at her diner as part of a ploy from Hazel’s old boss, Von (played by Bruce McGill), to pull her back into the murder business, and it’s Elliott’s job to make sure she finishes one last hit job.
